LCM Sermons

No matter how difficult it may be, we are choosing to stand where our King is standing! “Rising Tension” preached by Pastors Judah and Wade will no doubt move you to action if you engage with the spiritual truths and realities that are being conveyed. Through the character sketches of Ittai and Jonathan, we learned how close we can be to the Davidic King (even fighting on his behalf) and yet still not show our full fidelity to him by taking a stand where he has told us to stand. But if we are willing to separate from all worldly attachments and unbiblical expectations to embrace the rising tension of being near our King, then we will stand where he stands! We will reach the target!

We don't really wonder whether or not the sun is going to come up tomorrow. These things to us are as certain as creation itself. We have our heavenly father to thank for this because he decided to APPLY FORCE to a chaotic environment and to put it in order. Turns out we have received the very same mandate in our own lives and for our generations. In this message entitled, "Certain A.F." brothers Abimbola Daramola and Justin Linton lead us into a reflection on Sunday's message "Bending the Bow" with practical implications. As we apply force in every area that has been laid out to bend the bow, it is an absolute certainty that our arrows will fly true and hit their intended target.

“Bending the Bow” preached by Elder Eric, Pastor Wade, and Pastor Matt was immensely encouraging. We are to bend the bow with what we have already been given; we already have what we need. Through the scriptural encouragement of Deuteronomy 4, we could see the steps by which we are to bend the bow. This is not a new process we are discovering but rather taking what is already in our possession and doing it all the more. What started in us was always meant to radiate out to the generations coming behind us. This is how present and future kings of the kingdom are made. This is how we bend the bow.

After receiving even greater clarity of vision for our arrows from our pastor's the past sermon "Balkan Bow", the immediate question then follows. What do we do now? We find that the answer is quite simple, we do what we've already been taught to. Brothers Carlos Rueda and Justin Linton help to propel us in this truth with this message entitled "Sharpening Arrows". Truth is that everything we conquer today, will benefit our arrows in the future. As we overcome with the warring & shepherding spirit of Jesus Christ, this will become their heritage.

Today was a momentous day in LCM history. We have been given marching orders with a holistic revelation about the Balkan Region. Our King has one singular plan, one vision, to be carried out by his one body working in unity together. The One Association of churches is answering the call and we are finding true brothers all across the region who are partnering in this global call. “The Balkan Bow” preached by Pastors Nik, Payton, and Judah gave us a recap of their recent journey in the Balkan Region and how pivotal this initiation point is to this multi-generational vision. Every man, woman, and child in the One Association plays an important role to this vision, and it is up to us to lay down our lives so that we participate in seeing the nations of the World be won over to our King.

In this reflection from Sunday's message, "Barrier's Broken", brothers Caleb Brown and Justin Linton dove deeper to divide the diakrino left remaining in us. The truth is, we have both Peter-like and Cornelius-like diakrino in us. They then helped us to apply the solution, or better yet to recognize what has already been applied on your behalf. When we recognize two facts; 1) That his blood of Jesus is precious and powerful, and 2) It has not been shed for you to fail but to abound. That revelations now make you an officer of the "Anti-Diakrinos League".

“Barriers Broken” preached by Elder Eric and Pastor Judah is a sermon worth listening to again and again. When barriers have been broken in our lives, we can then set out as witnesses to help others have their barriers broken in their lives. This is what we see in the book of Acts with the Apostles and the barrier breaking encounters they were led into. It is also what we are experiencing here at LCM, our barriers have been broken and are being broken, bringing greater levels of unity between us. Now, we have our sights set on setting out to help others do the same!

In this sermon entitled "We Are More", we were heavily armed with a revelation that devastates the scheme's of the enemy. Brother's Adam Corra and Justin Treaster made us aware of the schemes employed by the enemy that seek to get us to take ourselves out of the fight. After being made aware of these insidious tactics, the brothers impressed upon us with conviction who we really are because of who HE is. This message will enliven every area of your life, set you ablaze, and set you firmly on the rock so that you too might set out.

We are full throttle into 2023 and showing no signs of slowing down! Pastor Wade and Pastor Matthew are leading the charge of our advancement into all that the Lord has planned for our body. “Stand Up and Set Out” gives us the process and steps of how we are to set out. When we face difficulty and the failures of getting knocked down from external or internal enemies, we must set our resolve to stand back up again in our divine identity. Wallowing, crying, and throwing a pity party doesn’t do anything. Standing up, walking in transparency, and knowing the will of the Father in partnership with him, is everything!

Join us as we celebrate the gift of the life of Riven Eliashiv Phillips. The Phillips family are a model of how we display the hope of the gospel while grappling with death, and how we overcome!
