I. The things that lull us to sleep
A. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and
drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in
quarreling and jealousy. – Romans 13:13
B. For as in those days before the flood they were eating
and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until
the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were
unaware until the flood came and swept them all
away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

II. Light keeps us awake (O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the
LORD. – Isaiah 2:5)

C. Light = Love

other, for the one who loves another has

3. For God so loved the world (John 3:16)…Light has come
into the world (John 3:19)
