    • They Came from the Kitchen Sink

Video for Media Production class. The theme was the story of an inanimate object. I picked a pair of salad tongs that look like skeleton hands and produced a gothic-themed film!

    • Kinetic Typography-- Featuring Dr Jay Bhattacharya

Kinetic Typography project for Motion Graphics class. I did this in late 2023 and chose an audio selection featuring Dr Jay Bhattacharya, one of the co-authors of the Great Barrington Declaration. In this clip, he captures exactly what happened in 2020 and 2021 without censoring anything.

When I met Dr Bhattacharya at a conference in 2022, I told him, "you changed my life." His document was the reason I pushed myself back towards living instead of spiraling into deeper despair. He responded by giving me a hug and explaining that he hadn't done anything radical, just stuck to classic scientific principles.

      • Dwarf Fortress 1.6 - By Its Evil Nature

The project to create surface gardens continues with minimal casualties. We continue building new artifacts.

Word has gotten out, though. Somehow, the goblins are no longer satisfied with dwarven children; they now demand dwarven crafts. As always, we shall export terror in bulk, and import vengeance in the smallest quantities possible.
If only we had an actual army.

      • World of Horror 4 - The Doom That Came to Shiokawa

One day, the world will end. There is nothing I can do about this.

All I can do is delay the inevitable. If anyone survives the flames, and what comes after:
Know that Haru did not go quietly into that bright night.
