As a sister refugee from the world of finance, she's able to balance the larger business goal with all the nitty gritty details and negotiations that make you cringe.
She has successfully produced, executed and managed event marketing ventures for companies such as: Jeep, Disney XD, NBC, American Airlines, Kraft Foods, Wall Street Journal, AIDS Health Foundation, and many more. Today, she works with international coaches, consultants, speakers and authors who want to get their message out using events, but don’t want the hassle of managing all of the logistics. And this is just Lany's work cred!
In this conversation, Lany and I also chat about how losing everything in a market crash and caretaking for two family members paved the way for her to change careers and become a digital nomad. This lifestyle allows this super connector to plan events all over the world and hang with her vast network of friends, family, and contacts in real life. Lany will share how she made that leap as well how she keeps the day-to-day together. Your career is stagnating, or worse, imploding. You're navigating a huge career leap and feel a little freaked-out. Then, a family member gets sick. And you've wondered how you're going to put your life back together again.
