indsay keeps it short and sweet this week with segment one focusing on Western Heritage Museum's Family Safety Day this Saturday, August 26th and a short segment two with a few community announcements.

This week Geni Cavanaugh with the Southwest Symphony visits with Lindsay about their 2017-2018 Season and after a quick break, show favorite Andrew Akufo from the Center for the Arts joins Patty Collins from Hobbs Chamber of Commerce and Scott Capps, local artist and car show organizer, to discuss this Saturday's Hobbs August Nites.

Leslie Pfalzgraf from WHI Hobbs visited with Lindsay to promote their 2nd Annual 5K Fun Run on September 9th. After a quick break, Andrew Akufo from the Center for the Arts brings featured artists Gina Bullard and Danté Rios for the Center's exhibit "Collage: Hispanic Heritage Arts Show" which opens Saturday, August 12th.

City of Hobbs Communications Director Meghan Mooney talks about livestreaming & KHBX 99.3, and Lindsay ends the show with an overview of next week's Lea County Fair & Rodeo.

This week Lea County with Lindsay hosts two phone-in segments: United Way of Lea County's Janelle Blain discussing Stuff-A-Bus, Chilifest and the United Way's 2018 Campaign, after a quick break with Western Heritage Museum's Dr. Dirt, Lindsay returns with Chip Lowe, Lea County's Football Official as he speaks of the on-going recruitment for football officials.

In segment one, Lindsay speaks with Brittny Huffman, from the City of Hobbs Park and Rec, about the Fourth of July celebration. During the second segment, she speaks with Karles McQuade, Charles Henning, Mary Anderson, and Arnold Cardon about their performances sponsored by Lea County Center for the Arts.

Joyce Walker & Andrew Akufo from the Center for the Arts join Lindsay in the KNMJ Studio for the first segment of this week's show to discuss the Annual Membership Meeting, Tuesday July 25th at 5:30 pm, as well as the Battle of the Bands Concert on Saturday, July 29th and the September 15th deadline for the Walker Award Nominations. After a short break with Dr. Dirt, Nathan Miles and Erin Anderson with New Antiquities Theatre Company review their upcoming performance, "A Moon for the Misbegotten" held at Western Heritage Museum on July 21, 22, 28, & 29 at 7:30 pm/
