Culture changes in 30 second increments. Be intentional...someone is always watching.
Jason Silva's Responsibility to Awe video is fantastic. It speaks to the idea of mental models and the fact that many live in comfort zones and rarely venture outside of them. One of the things we think is important about the video is a story that is not being told...awe is happen all around us. We can't mandate a time or place, it is person specific, and we never know what it is that brings people to that place of inspiration. What we CAN do is to provide an environment where stepping out of comfort zones is not only valued, but encouraged.
A trip to Canada got me to thinking about Allie and what the world will have in store for her as she grows up. Thanks to the TLDSB crew for a fantastic experience!!
The guys are back to recap the Hacking Leadership Twitter chat from November!

The boys are back! Well...almost back! After a summer of talking Hacking Leadership with groups across the country Tony and Joe settle back into the routine and get the Successful Schools Podcast back on the map!
The guys sit down for a few minutes and talk about the release of Hacking Leadership. The 3rd book from Sinanis and Sanfelippo breaks 10 problems in schools and helps you get to a new place through "hacks". They give you things you can do tomorrow, a blueprint for implementation, how to deal with pushback, and where you can find the hack in action.
