I firmly believe that leaders can exist in many different ways, not only with a manager or director title. Meet Melissa Chiranky-Bozich— Choreographer, Class studios instructor, former NBA dance, and NHL Ice Girl. Her mission is to share her love for dance with everyone in the world and make dance accessible for anyone, anywhere.
During our conversation, we talk about her dance background, how she grew in confidence and self-awareness and how she strives to have everyone leave her dance classes with more confidence instead of fear.
If you have ever been to one of Melissa’s dance classes, you know how much energy she brings. That energy shines in this episode! I learned so much from her and I hope you do too!

During this coffee break, I revisit Episode 4 with my grandfather’s, Floyd Greco, speech “Make It Happen.” The speech is read by my dad, Chris Greco.
Floyd worked his way up from being an hourly worker to a senior executive at ALCOA and he was extremely passionate about leadership, encouraging everyone to “Make it Happen.” He passed in 1996 but his legacy to motivate and inspire others continues among his kids and grandkids.

Lead Into It is a leadership podcast for managers, emerging leaders, and professionals who are trying to figure out how to lead well without completely losing themselves in the…
I'm Sara Greco: a leadership coach, Air Force leader, and someone who has spent a lot of time thinking (and probably overthinking) about what makes a good leader.
On the show, we talk about the real-life side of leadership: managing people, having difficult conversations, building confidence, setting boundaries, managing up, leading through change, and figuring out what the heck you're doing when you suddenly find yourself in charge.
Some episodes are conversations with people who have interesting stories and lessons to share about leadership, career growth, communication, and personal development. Others are just me, talking through a leadership lesson, a question I've been thinking about, or something I've learned the hard way.
If you're a new or mid-level manager, an emerging leader, or you're somewhere in your career thinking, “Okay...what's next?” you're in the right place.
I'm glad you're here. Grab your coffee and let's get into it.
