Saved from death in a basket in the river by the Pharaoh's daughter. Raised and trained as a prince, only to be exiled from his birth place because of murdering an Egyptian task master who was beating an Israelite! He then spends decades as a herdsman in the wilderness of Midian. One day he sees a burning bush that turns out to be God sending him back to Egypt to do what he originally wanted to do before he was run out! Then we see him after a very wild excursion before Pharaoh leading the children of Israel out of Egypt which is now fairly decimated once God has gotten through with it. He finds himself here at the Red Sea with nowhere to go! Their backs are against the ocean with cliffs to one side, a holy place to an Egyptian God and the Egyptian army chasing them! We see Moses path not stop here but continue, God shows him a path he never had seen nor expected, never even realized possible!
