ACWICT in partnership with Gray Space KE has come together to launch a unique Podcast series known as “LEAD”. Its main goal is to explore Tech’s role and impact on Improved Livelihoods, Education, Advocacy & Socio-economic development we will give listeners an opportunity to experience our storied journey through the COVID-19 pandemic and how we managed to come out with a stronger resolve to empower women and youth with market-relevant digital skills as tools for sustainable socio-economic development

In this episode, our focus will be on sharing ACWICT’s journey through the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting its impact on our organization (and the society at large), and how through grit and determination we were able to roll out critical interventions that proved to be important during a time that they were needed the most. We will also spend a significant amount of time sharing our technological journey and how its continued application has continued to enhance our implementation of interventions and open doors to work with GSPs such as Microsoft, WIPFLI, GSMA & UKAID.

Widely acknowledged as the “alpha” episode, our main objective will be to introduce the potential listenership to the lead series, discuss in depth what the podcast is trying to achieve (what the core objective of the limited series is about), and why we as an organization feel are in the best position (from an experience point-of-view) to be able to take on this important responsibility.

This episode will give us a great opportunity to introduce the team that will be primarily working on the show and provides a platform where they can share their journey through the world of technology.[TA1]
