Season 04 Episode 08
Theresa Lowe is the Founder/Executive Director of the Lowe Family Foundation. Her dedication to this work connects her to a linage of community advocacy by way of her grandmother, who was an avid organizer and volunteer. Theresa’s core values focus on creating the highest level of academic excellence. Having a background in early childhood education, she uses her passion for encouraging young people to guide and uplift their respective communities. Visionary in her leadership, she often steps up to organize, plan and administer impactful community projects and activities; as demonstrated by her receipt of the Curren D. Price SHero award in 2015. Theresa has contributed to organizations that encourage high levels of student/parent participation. And has served as an advisor and led fundraising committees for numerous causes and educational institutions. The loss of access to learning and resources during the time of Covid has further amplified her drive to improving social and academic wellness.
