“He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.” “He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

Life is all about relationships; those special connections with family, friends, and even God. A lot of people have trouble with that last one. Many people struggle with organized religion, while also believing it’s necessary in order to connect with God.  Spirituality isn’t found within the walls of a church building, it’s found within.   Join your hosts, Tim and Jamie Holloway, as they discuss their journey to a holistic-centered life and an overall connectedness.

  • Is It Gaslighting or Simply Challenging Your Thoughts?

No one can support someone as perfectly as God, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t always try. There are so many ways we can support one another, so how do we know the correct way? Wouldn’t it be nice if the other person just told us? Why do some people play games, dropping hints, expecting us to figure out what they need? Imagine if you went into a conversation telling the other person up front that you didn’t want a solution from them, you just wanted them to listen to you. Communication is key to getting the support you need. Sometimes, however, someone may not even know how they would be best supported. What about when someone’s vision of support is actually enabling? Support isn’t black and white, all we can do is try our best for one another.

  • The Greatest Grain of Sand on Earth

What is love?  For starters, it’s a verb.  It's shown through actions that have the other persons best interests in mind.  Oftentimes, people will get love mixed up with lust, which can be used to control and manipulate.

The Greeks believe love to be so complex that they have 6 different types.  Join us as we dissect each one and their importance in our relationships.  At the end of the day, the purest kind of love is selfless love.  It’s something we should all strive for, while understanding that only God has perfected it.

    What You’ll Learn:

    • How people use love to control and manipulate.
    • What the opposite of love is.
    • How God’s love is perfect.
    • What the 6 types of love are as defined by the Greeks.

    • “Safe Spaces”, Are They Really Safe?

What do you think of when you hear the word ‘safe’? We think about the invention of so-called “safe spaces”.  It’s the idea that in a specific place you can be safe to be completely vulnerable.  Some schools, businesses, and workplaces have implemented these safe spaces.  But, are they really safe?

We live in a society where everyone is encouraged to share their story.  We teach this idea of being completely vulnerable without any consequences, when that’s just not how it works.  You don’t need to tell your story to everyone, there’s a time and place.  In fact, sharing your struggles on social media can get you trapped in an algorithm of despair.

      What You’ll Learn:

      • Why social media isn’t a safe space to be vulnerable.
      • How to balance vulnerability with its potential consequences.
      • Where you should be able to be 100% vulnerable.
      • Why who you let into your inner circle is so important.
      • Favorite Quote:

“Vulnerability opens you up, and then the risk becomes great.” -Tim Holloway
