Reflecting on comments made by former President Joe Biden during his first week in office, Brett argues that the nation avoided a dangerous path by rejecting policies he believes would have weakened border security, increased government control, and empowered foreign adversaries like Iran.

Later Brett shifts to a lighter conversation about summer heat, air conditioning habits, and the strange household rules many people grew up with surrounding when the AC could officially be turned on. After hearing from a friend who refuses to use air conditioning before June 1st, Brett jokes about people turning their homes into “beef jerky factories” while suffering through rising temperatures.
