Before we get into leadership, business, artificial intelligence, and everything else we'll explore on Leadership Learned by LGH, I thought you should know a little about the person behind the podcast.
In this introductory episode, I share some of the experiences that shaped who I am—from growing up in a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania and chasing an Olympic dream to building a career as a business owner, professor, corporate leader, author, facilitator, and thought leader.
But this isn't a résumé. It's the story behind how I think.
My definition of success has evolved throughout my career, and so has my approach to leadership. I've learned from achievement, failure, opportunities I received, opportunities I didn't, people I've taught and led, and plenty of moments when I've had to change direction.
That's what Leadership Learned is about: staying curious, continuing to learn, and being willing to change your thinking when what you know today no longer fits where you're going tomorrow.
If you're new here, start with Episode 0. Then let's see what we can learn together.
AI Disclosure: Artificial intelligence was used throughout the development and production of this episode as a thought partner to help organize ideas, refine language, and produce content. Every opinion, personal experience, leadership insight, and editorial decision is my own.
