On this week's episode on the Leadership Lifestyle Podcast we ask, who is the better Leader?  Is it the entrepreneur or the traditional leader in a large company?  Without a doubt, stepping out and creating something on your own is not for everyone and it takes a certain mindset to make it happen.  Leading in a large company also takes a certain mindset to ascend to a higher leadership level.  So, which leader is better?

Actually, you need both mindsets to help you reach higher goals and accomplishments.  Many entrepreneurs think their idea is so amazing, everyone will love it.  Then, they struggle to scale.  Many traditional Leaders feel entitled once in a higher level and forget what it took for them to get there.  So, calling all entrepreneurs and traditional leaders to listen and tell us what you think!

Typically, you wouldn't want to talk about politics at work, but politics is exactly what's driving major decisions and those decisions affect your team.  You just can't pretend it's not on everyone's mind.  We are watching people being put into 2 separate groups of people and that's not good for any team.  Many people have differing opinions and regardless of what decision you or your company is going to make, how you lead your team says everything about your leadership.  Listen to everyone with empathy and be honest about where your team is going.
