Skilled at negotiating complex policies, building capacity and brokering consensus, within political and third sector organisations, particularly in societies emerging from conflict – offering expert advice and training to elected representatives, community activists and senior statutory officials. Responsible for developing, resourcing and successful delivery of complex implementation programmes.  In 2018, moved to Islington, to lead the ground-breaking Inclusive Economy programme. The programme has a radical focus, embedded in the ‘Fairer Islington’ agenda, seeking to ensure that economic, social and environmental justice sit at the heart of all of the council’s economic policies. Designed the implementation phase of the innovative Affordable Workspace Programme. Leading work on range of initiatives on social value leasing; progressive procurement; inclusive innovation; green industrial strategy; community wealth building; and, responsible business development.
