  • PAINT WITH WHAT YOU’VE GOT!
PAINT WITH WHAT YOU'VE GOT!["Stop Looking at What You're Missing and Start Using What God Gave You"] Exodus 4:1-5 KJV Sarah Biffin was born in England in 1784 without arms or normally developed legs. As a young girl she entered the world of traveling exhibitions, where audiences watched her demonstrate remarkable abilities. Sarah learned to paint intricate miniature portraits by controlling her brush without hands. Her artistic talent eventually received serious recognition, professional instruction and royal patronage, and her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy. Her remarkable life provides the backdrop for a biblical question God asked Moses: "What is that in thine hand?" — Exodus 4:2 KJV My prayer is to challenge believers to stop concentrating on what they lack and surrender what God has already given them. I. STOP CRYING OVER WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE Your Limitation Does Not Have to Become Your Excuse. II. DON'T LET SOMEBODY ELSE'S LABEL BECOME YOUR LIMIT They Saw an Attraction—Somebody Else Saw an Artist. III. GIVE GOD WHAT YOU'VE GOT A Little Becomes Much When It Is Surrendered. Moses had a rod. David had a sling. A widow had a little oil. A boy had five loaves and two fishes. Sarah Biffin had a paintbrush she couldn't hold in a hand. What has God put in your life? Stop waiting until you have what somebody else has. PAINT WITH WHAT YOU'VE GOT!

  • The Making of A Man of God Part 1
Explore how to be a man of God in The Making of A Man of God Part 1, revealing the biblical marks of faithful discipleship and mentorship. In a world of spiritual compromise and false teaching, true sanctification requires faithful models. Pastor Richard Caldwell examines the profound relationship between the Apostle Paul and Timothy to reveal God's design for spiritual leadership. This expository sermon from 2 Timothy 3 demonstrates that preparing for ministry is a life-on-life endeavor rather than a mere academic exercise. Effective Christian mentorship involves observing a proven practitioner of the truth who remains steadfast under trial. Paul's life provided Timothy with a visible pattern of sound doctrine, enduring faith, and genuine love for the local church. Believers are reminded that enduring pastoral training requires submitting to older, wiser leaders who have been tested by the fires of real ministry. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. We must intentionally follow the pattern of faithful spiritual fathers who prioritize pleasing Christ above all else. Key Biblical Takeaways - True spiritual preparation requires personal mentorship from seasoned believers who model both sound doctrine and righteous conduct. - A faithful minister must possess an internal fuel of faith, patience, and love to sustain his ministry. - Enduring persecution and suffering is an unavoidable reality for those who boldly proclaim the truth and protect the flock of God. - Biblical discipleship demands intentional focus and a willing student who conforms to the teacher's example.

  • How Churches Fool Themselves
This sermon examines the root cause of division within the Corinthian church, identifying self-deception as the underlying condition rather than the symptom of factionalism. The message argues that believers often adopt worldly standards of wisdom and leadership, leading to a false perception of their own spiritual maturity. Consequently, this distorted view produces a false pursuit of human influence and a false evaluation of others, where human judgment is elevated above divine authority. The text emphasizes that true wisdom requires acknowledging one's ignorance and submitting to God's ultimate judgment, as only He can reveal the hidden counsels of the heart. The sermon concludes by urging the church to recognize their vast inheritance in Christ, which renders petty conflicts over personalities and methods insignificant.

  • God Is At Work
This sermon explores how God sustains and expands the church through three primary means: His Word, His leaders, and His people. Drawing from Acts 11, the message highlights how persecution in Jerusalem inadvertently scattered believers to Antioch, where the gospel crossed cultural barriers to reach Gentiles. The text emphasizes the critical role of pastoral leadership, specifically Barnabas and Saul, in nurturing this new community through teaching and encouragement. As a result of this spiritual formation, the Antioch church became a distinct witness to their city, characterized by a countercultural generosity that sent relief to the struggling believers in Judea. The sermon concludes by urging the congregation to respond to God's grace by actively caring for their neighbors and recognizing that God is always at work through ordinary believers.

  • Loving Like Christ
This sermon examines the biblical role of the husband in marriage, emphasizing that leadership is defined by sacrificial love modeled after Christ's relationship with the church. The message challenges husbands to move beyond idealized fantasies and embrace a realistic view of their wives as imperfect sinners who require daily grace and intentional care. Key themes include the necessity of sacrificing personal preferences for the spouse's benefit, the purpose of cultivating spiritual growth through Scripture, and the personal commitment to serve one's wife as one cares for their own body. By referencing the foot washing in John 13 and the servant leadership in Luke 22, the teaching redefines male authority as humble service rather than domination. The overall tone is convicting yet encouraging, urging believers to pursue God's design for marriage through consistent, selfless action empowered by the Holy Spirit.
