Nina is the Innovation Lead at the Champalimaud Center for the Unknown where she spearheading the creation of the world’s first digital therapeutics institute, a unique environment bringing together clinical trials, research & technology, art and education under one roof to change behavior for healthier lives. 

She’s an ex-founder & CEO with more than 10 years experience in biotech & startups. She was awarded Newcomer of the Year 2021 from the German Startup Awards, and holds a PhD in Drug Discovery and Development. She spent several years leading biotech R&D teams in Silicon Valley which resulted in one exit to Gingko Bioworks in 2018.
