John Pimental, BA '10, came to CSP to major in physical education and participate on the football and track and field teams. After graduating, he worked as a gym teacher and coach, as well as on residence life staff at CSP. However, a discovery flight changed everything for him, and now he is a captain at SkyWest Airlines, a regional affiliate of Delta, American, United, and Alaska Airlines. One of four 2019 Educator of the Year Award winners, Koryn Saunders, BA '01, has spent the past 18 years working in St. Paul Public Schools as a classroom teacher and guidance counselor. She shared how she came to CSP all the way from Miami, what activities she was involved with on campus, who some of her biggest influences are, what her career path has been, and what her current role is.
