THE BIGGER THE LIE IS THE EASIER IT IS TO SELL. A LIE TOLD LONG ENOUGH AND OFTEN ENOUGH BECOMES THE TRUTH.

It’s really amazing but absolutely true that first person to lie is believed most of the time. It’s also amazing that the more outlandish a lie is, the more extravagant the exaggeration is, the more likely it will be accepted. Sadly, this means manipulation is easier on a grander scale than on subtleties.

Leaders MUST be vigilant, diligent, focused and attentive to the schemers and trickery used to manipulate and deceive. Leaders must be accountable to a higher standard and guarded to uphold it.
