Lindsay Frilling serves as CEO for the Obion County Joint Economic Development Corporation, which includes the Obion County Chamber of Commerce and Obion County Industrial Development Corporation. She joined the organization in 2009.

Since 2011, Ms. Frilling has facilitated the creation of over 2,500 new jobs and over $280 million in capital investment in a county with a population of 30,000.

Lindsay spearheaded the effort to make the Northwest Tennessee Regional Industrial Center a Select Tennessee Certified Site and participated in tourism efforts that have resulted in 250,000 families and individuals visiting Discovery Park of America annually.

As an active member of TN Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE), TN Economic Partnership (TEP), and TN Economic Development Council (TEDC), Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC). Lindsay is the President of TEDC, Past President of TCCE, and served on the TN Chamber of Commerce & Industry Board of Directors.

In 2015, she was named as one of West Tennessee’s Up and Coming Top Forty Under 40, and in 2016 was chosen for the 2016 Southern Economic Development Council’s Chairman’s Award. 

She is a graduate of Leadership TN, Complete TN Leadership, Delta Leadership, TVA Rural Economic Development Leadership, WestStar Leadership, and Adult Leadership Obion County.  As a community volunteer, Lindsay dedicates time to Union City Rotary Club, Discovery Park of America, TN Access to Justice Commission, Adult Leadership Obion County, Union City J’Cettes, Chimes for Charity, and the Boys and Girls Club, having served in executive positions for these organizations.

Lindsay is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) with the International Economic Development Council and earned an Institute of Organization Management (IOM) Certification from the US Chamber of Commerce.

Lindsay holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Prior to joining the Obion County JEDC, Lindsay was the Director of Marketing and Special Events for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee in Union City and is also the former Customer Service Supervisor for Midwest-CBK.

Lindsay is the proud mother of two children, Alli Kate and Houston.
