John Dorough's passion for climbing began early and by college he devoted most of his free time to the sport. Like all things athletic, John quickly excelled in degree of difficulty and length of route. He also knew he wanted to make climbing a profession. Today, John has built a very successful sales agency representing Petzel, has lived in Chattanooga for years with his family and has become one of the Stewards of our Public lands. Soft spoken, "not on social media," he devotes his time to family, friends, stewardship, outdoor sports and his profession.
