The CEO Commission for Disability Employment is leading the way to an inclusive workforce.
It was founded by Voya Financial, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), to advance disability-inclusive employment by inspiring and engaging business leaders to drive change through policy, practice, and culture.
The CEO Commission is designed to increase opportunities for people with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment. We aim to accomplish this by building a diverse coalition of private-sector organizations, including for-profit and non-profit
businesses of different sizes.
Through effective collaboration and research, the CEO Commission will promote best practices across the entire business community to decrease barriers individuals with disabilities face in accessing employment.
Their Vision is a future in which federal, state, and local policies foster disability-inclusive employment; company practices ensure individuals with disabilities can thrive in inclusive settings, and workplace cultures welcome and value the contributions of each employee.
