Leaked internal documents show the WA Labor Party put taxpayer-funded electorate officers through intensive training about “continuous campaigning” and election fundraising.

This follows revelations on Monday the Corruption and Crime Commission is investigating possible abuses of electorate office funding by the party. WA MP parliamentary guidelines ban electorate officers from doing party political work while on the clock.

"If you go to the Parliamentary Electorate Office guidelines ... there is a problem," said Mornings host Gary Adshead, who broke the story on his return to the 6PR airwaves on Monday.

"The Premier [Mark McGowan] will be out and about at an event in South Perth and we'll ask some questions there."
