En esta ocasión contamos con un invitado muy especial, el ing. Santiago Ruíz, desde Perú, para discutir sobre la implementación de la filosofóa Lean en la fase de diseño de proyectos de construcción. Actualmente en la industria de la construcción hay poca claridad con respecto a qué es Virtual Design and Construction y el papel que tiene Lean Construction. En este capítulo de Lean the way abordamos este tema para esclarecer en qué consiste el marco de trabajo, sus componentes y la relevancia estratégica que tiene su implementación en todos los niveles de la gestión de proyectos.
‘Takt time’ es un término utilizado en la fabricación para describir el ritmo de trabajo para que coincida con el trabajo que se debe entregar en tiempo y forma al cliente. La «estructuración del trabajo» es la práctica de programar las actividades y es parte del diseño de un sistema de producción. Takt time planning entonces, es un método para estructurar el trabajo en un ritmo de trabajo determinado. En este capítulo además, tendremos una interesante conversación con Fernando Alarcón y Jorge Miranda, dos grandes representantes de Lean Construction y VDC en Latinoamérica y el mundo.
La implementación de nuevas metodologías, nuevas herramientas y sobre todo, diferentes formas de pensar en una empresa, implican grandes esfuerzos de coordinación logística, operativa y cultural. En este capítulo abordamos ese tema desde diferentes perspectivas.
