Someone with an attitude of gratitude appreciates everything in life. They are grateful for their relationships, their health, their business, and their sense of well-being.
Having an attitude of gratitude is important because it shifts your focus from yourself to appreciating someone else or something else.
When you develop an attitude of gratitude you feel happier and more positive. Gratitude increases compassion and self-care. It also makes you grateful for the people and things that matter.
Leap of Fate's guest this week, Chris DT Gordon teaches and speaks internationally on his line TAG: The Attitude of Gratitude. This came after a near-death experience.
After contracting necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating bacteria) from a simple scratch, Chris spent over two months in the hospital, endured numerous surgeries that have permanently changed him physically, and faced an extremely important question: How was he going to live the rest of his life? Would he become sad, resentful, bitter, and angry? Or would he rise above his circumstances and choose a more positive route?
Chris chose the latter and created The Attitude of Gratitude (TAG), which he shares so others can overcome their own “personal bacteria”, increase their positivity and gratitude, and improve the lives of those around them.
T- Think about the good things in your life
A- Acknowledge the appreciated
G- Give others a reason to be thankful
As we continue to go through this pandemic, having TAG is more important than ever. Use this pod to take a moment to appreciate what you have, acknowledge those around you, and do an act of kindness to have someone else be thankful and have their own TAG!
