  • Explanation of the 40 Hadith – Part 10
This lesson covers the 12th hadeeth, narrated by Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: “From the perfection and completion of a person’s Islam is him leaving that which doesn’t concern him”.
This lesson discusses ahadeeth which bring about good mannerisms, from them are the narration: “Whoever believes in Allaah and the last day, let him speak good or remain silent” and the narration discussed in this lesson.
Abu Humayd also covers the 13th hadeeth, narrated by Anas Ibn Malik that the Prophet Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam said: “one of you does not believe up until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself”. To love for your brother what you love for yourself is something which is obligatory in the matters of religion. As for the worldly matters, that is recommended to love for your brother what you want for yourself, for example to have a good job. A person who does not love for their brother what they love for themselves, has not reached the complete state of Eemaan.
The origin of performing good deeds is that one rushes and hastens towards it, not that a person gives preference to someone else over them.
