Sahih al-Bukhari – The Book of Tawheed – Lesson 66 (13/10/18)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet stood before Musailama (the liar) who was sitting with his companions then, and said to him, "If you ask me for this piece (of palm-leaf stalk), even then I would not give it to you. You cannot avoid what Allah has ordained for you, and if you turn away from Islam, Allah will surely ruin you! "

o He used to be a respectable person who was in authority

o The people used to call him Rahman

o Allaah degraded him and he was classed as a liar

o He claimed messenger ship after the Prophet ﷺ

o The Prophet ﷺ was holding the palm leaf and he replied to Musailama “If you asked me for this I wouldn’t even give you this.”

o When and how he was killed

o The story of the sign that occurred that showed he was a liar

I heard the Prophet saying, "Some people from my followers will continue to be victorious over others till Allah's Order (The Hour) is established."

I heard the Prophet saying, "A group of my followers will keep on following Allah's Laws strictly and they will not be harmed by those who will disbelieve them or stand against them till Allah's Order (The Hour) will come while they will be in that state."

9 - Six Events from the Seerah of the Prophet - Rayaan Barker | Stoke by Learn About Islam

In this khutbah Ustaadh reminds us of the command of Allaah for us to implement and abide by The Qur'aan and The Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).

Allaah says in Surah Ali 'Imran [3:102-103] in His Book:

"O you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allah. And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Quran), and be not divided among yourselves"

Ustaadh Uways at-Taweel gives a brief introduction to the book "40 Hadeeth" by Imaam an-Nawawi - may Allaah have mercy upon him. He then goes on to explain the first hadeeth of the book regarding the importance of the intention.

Sahih al-Bukhari – The Book of Tawheed – Lesson 63 (22/09/18)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "When Allah created the creations, He wrote with Him on His Throne: 'My Mercy has preceded My Anger."

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: Allah's Apostle the true and truly inspired, narrated to us, "The creation of everyone of you starts with the process of collecting the material for his body within forty days and forty nights in the womb of his mother. Then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period (40 days) and then he becomes like a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then an angel is sent to him (by Allah) and the angel is allowed (ordered) to write four things; his livelihood, his (date of) death, his deeds, and whether he will be a wretched one or a blessed one (in the Hereafter) and then the soul is breathed into him. So one of you may do (good) deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise so much that there is nothing except a cubit between him and Paradise but then what has been written for him decides his behaviour and he starts doing (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of Hell (Fire) and (ultimately) enters Hell (Fire); and one of you may do (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of Hell (Fire) so much so that there is nothing except a cubit between him and Hell (Fire), then what has been written for him decides his behaviour and he starts doing (good) deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and ultimately) enters Paradise."
