“Natter” (intransitive verb and noun) Verb: to talk continuously for a long time without any particular purpose. “My mother-in-law doesn’t half natter.” Noun: a long conversation which doesn’t have any particular purpose. “She’s always enjoyed a good natter.”  

“Fella” (noun) – a man. (Synonym of “mate”.) “Hello, fella. How are you?” “You can trust Richard, he’s a jolly good fella.”
