Asthma is a condition in which the airways of the lungs become narrowed or completely blocked, obstructing normal breathing. This obstruction of the lungs, however, is reversible. That is why asthma is technically called Reversible Obstructive Airway Disease. What you might not know is that this kind of obstruction does not happen only in the lungs, and when it happens elsewhere the actual cause is the same and also the remedy.

The Buteyko Method is for very good reasons well known as a cure for asthma and in next episodes we are going to explain everything related to the history, the causes and the mechanism as to why the Buteyko Method is perfect for this condition. In this episode we take you through the life cycle of the method itself: its inception, successes, repression and enormous contributions it made within the Soviet Union, to a degree where our protagonist could make himself useful even during the Chernobyl disaster. We are going to do that by the hand of the best qualified Buteyko practitioner today: VLADIMIR SUKHONOSOV. We could say of Vladimir that he is the PRACTITIONER OF PRACTITIONERS when it comes to the Buteyko Method. He has treated tens of thousands of patients and was appointed by Professor Buteyko himself as an auditor for other practitioners.
