How to Life Coach Yourself!
Learn Grow Give: Episode 12
Let’s face it, it’s not easy to stay on track and find the resources to achieve our goals.
Because of that many of us look to a Life Coach to help us find our way through the mountains of information the internet provides so that we can get the information we need to make progress.
What is a life coach you ask?
In simplest of terms, a Life Coach is a person that works with an individual or a group to ensure that the “Coachee” stays on course to reach their pre-determined and researched goal or outcome.
A Life Coach does not judge, criticize, or deter the coachee from accomplishing their desired outcome. The life coach is on your team to ensure that you get to where you want to go with as few distractions and setbacks as possible.
Of course, there is a lot more to a Life Coach, but if you want to learn more, you are going to have to listen to this episode and follow along!
In this episode, we are going to be looking at what a life coach is and what it is not. We are going to set you up to life coach yourself in the simplest of ways.

The Blame Game! Those that play, always lose!
Learn Grow Give: Episode 7
When something doesn’t go your way, do you accept responsibility or find a reason why?
Are you more likely to blame others when you make a mistake?
When you get passed over for a promotion, do you blame the management for playing favorites?
Not taking responsibility has become too common in our society. It seems that nobody is to blame for their situations or their actions. Everyone has a finger to point and it rarely is pointed at themselves. I am not saying that there are circumstances that cause us to stumble and fall. But rather than looking back at that rock and blaming it for tripping us up, we can accept what happened and choose to get up and keep going.
In this episode, we are going to talk about not taking responsibility and the long-term effects. How to take responsibility for your actions and how to take responsibility for your life.
In this episode, we cover several key topics including:
· You are responsible for your happiness.
· How to take responsibility for your life and your actions.
· How to identify those that are not accepting responsibility and are blaming others.
And many more things to help us make the best of our lives!

The Desire to Be!
Learn Grow Give: Episode 6
Who are your heroes?
Have you ever said “I wish I could …”?
Have you ever been inspired by someone’s achievements?
I think it’s safe to say that at some point in our lives we have all daydreamed, fantasized about, or pretended to be a superhero, police officer, nurse, or some other well-respected person or character.
We imagine ourselves being these people and achieving what they have worked so hard to accomplish.
In this episode, we are going to talk about those times when we desire to be something greater than ourselves. We will look at these heroes in our lives and face the reality that in the end, they are the same as us.
In this episode, we cover several key topics including:
· Taking the excitement of inspiration and making it into long term motivation.
· Looking at our heroes as regular people who just worked longer and harder than the average person.
· Realizing that we can achieve the same greatness that they have through persistent hard work and dedication on the path less traveled.
And many more things to help us make the best of our lives!

Put Instant Gratification on Probation!
Learn Grow Give: Episode 5
How do you handle stress?
What excuses do you tell yourself to make you feel better?
What poor choices have you made at the moment?
In this episode, we are going to talk about the seemingly harmless choices and the negotiations that we make with ourselves in order to avoid pain or relieve stress.
Perhaps when you feel stress from having to work overtime, you decide to skip the gym and go home and relax on the sofa. Or maybe you can’t stop shopping, and you justify it by convincing yourself that you deserve to buy those new shoes for working so hard on that project at work.
We all do it in one shape or form.
Let’s look at how we can break free from these destructive choices and habits.
