In difficult times we always seem to question our faith, we start to crumble at the first sign of adversity. We behave as though there is no help. Why wait until the last minute or when you are in dire need to call upon your higher power (God). We have been conditioned to believe that God is in Heaven, a place far removed from us, telling us we have to die to get to him (instilling the fear of death) and this is simply not true. We do die, we die to our old selves to become something totally new and fully capable of creating whatever it is we want. He is in us all and wants us all to be doing better.  Especially when we seem to worship something more than him. Things get taken away, lessons have to be learned, tests have to be passed, it is as simple as that. If you are happy with your life right now, kudos to you! It's true that all that glitters is not gold. We waste way too much time allowing what other people think and say about us to influence the way that we live our lives. Why do we deny ourselves, love? It is out of fear of being hurt or reliving what we have experienced in the past. We need to learn to let our guards down. We be having our guards up, blocking all of our blessings out of fear for nothing. Life happens, things happen, people happen, misunderstandings happen. We don't need to be afraid to let new people in. If you open yourself up to love,  be strong enough to know what's best for you and address situations as they arise in the relationship. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. There are still more days to experience other people. We can't control anyone except ourselves.

Love is a beautiful thing when it's true. Love yourself first in all the things you do. Nobody can love you better than you can love yourself. Make time and take the time to nurture yourself. Go within, raise your vibration and feel the loving energy of the divine.
