Today we will learn about the Whole-Child Approach to Learn Outside for Student Engagement. Rhonda Meyer will join us, she is the MTSS coordinator for Career Academy Network of Public Schools, with 34 years of educational experience.

Learn Outside Description: Today, we will learn more about the unique Learn Outside approach at Success Academy at Boys and Girls Club- We will see how experiential learning will be embedded at SABGC and the professional development that staff receive to be prepared for leading Learn Outside. The importance of the teachers hired, have to be invested in the experiential learning approach as well as how to develop community partnerships.

We will be Exploring Experiential Education and its Role in Student Agency, Career Exploration, and Project-Based Learning. We will see how activating super powers in our educators and students increases agency. At the end of the segment we will hear from our Robotics Team and the super hero robot that they designed and built. Learn Outside takes place daily at Career Academy Network of Schools.

We will be discussing  how to unlock curiosity in students by inspiring an inquisitive mindset and activating super hero powers in our educators and students. At the end of the segment we will learn about a super hero tool, the  AR sand table and how it sparks joyous exploration in our learners.
