Jesus' Transfiguration and what it means to you and me.

Jesus discusses His upcoming death and Resurrection, and tells His disciples their future:

Study of Peter's Confession that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, with some material from the rest of the New Testament and a few outside sources.

The lessons that the Pharisees & Sadducees teach us: Beware of their teachings--the lessons are still relevant today!

What can Jesus NOT do? Good question. Here, He does things that only God can do--and there are some wonderful lessons for us in this.

Jesus and the Gentile Woman--The woman is a great lesson in perseverance and understanding as we think about prayer and how it works.

Christianity often has two major problems:

1. Replacing Bible truth with the commandments of men (or women);

2. Ignoring what is inside the heart and focusing only on external obedience.
