I fully support and respect people for having strong beliefs and holding firm in them. As is the case with anything in life however, there is always the possibility of “taking it too far”. When it comes to beliefs, if you allow yourself to become too narrow minded in them, you risk limiting the true potential you have to accomplish the overall goals you seek.

I'm all for people being ambitious and not wanting to sit around. Pursuing something as intense as trading is admirable as far as I'm concerned; however, there are certain situations that are red flags that should be telling you that trading is NOT for you at this point in time. I want to talk about one of these glaring situations right now.

From a business standpoint, it makes perfect sense why people focus on situations that are “not normal”, but they make them “seem normal”. It’s a totally easy sale’s pitch. The problem is, it causes misconceptions with new traders that send them off with false mentalities and down pathways that don’t end well. Using a real life exchange from YouTube, you’ll see exactly how this plays out in the real world.

By all means, when you are looking around on the internet be skeptical and a bit jaded. With that being said though, it is possible to allow those emotions to go way too far which in return allows bitterness to wreck any ability to think logically.

There is one reoccurring example in the market that I come across time and time again that truly illustrates the point of people trading with real money when they shouldn’t be. Let’s see where you stand in regards to the test. You’ll need to be totally honest with yourself, but it is a great indicator of just where you actual knowledge and understand of the market resides.

I would think what I talk about is blatantly obvious; however, this real life piece of data suggest otherwise. Is it shocking to see this person being slaughtered in a trade?

As 2018 comes to a close, I wanted to hopefully motivate and inspire you for whatever your 2019 goals are via this person's story.
