Guessing can be costly in marketing
Many marketers make this mistake of guessing who their audience can. This can be very costly just because you are investing a significant percentage of your investment in showing your products to them but later you find that they are not your perfect audience and you end up with very less sales
Why does this happen?
This happens only because people don't put in efforts to go out in the market and understand their who their prospects are. They don't put in time to understand where their prospects are. They don't try to understand the buying psychology of their prospects which is a huge mistake.
eg- If a person is selling a t-shirt with some quote relating to pets and if he shows his ad to people who don't like pets then he has messed up with a lot of money.
As it is said " A single mistake in sales can be recovered but a single mistake in marketing can be huge"
Before starting your marketing campaign you must first find where your market is,where is your prospect.your prospect's needs, your prospect's psychology while buying, create a compelling offer and then showing it to the right audience which will help you increase your sales and makes your campaign more effective
