Self care isn’t just eating right and washing your face and brushing your teeth. It’s also talking to yourself kindly, getting to know what you need and value, and putting your physical/ emotional/ mental well-being first. We often center the needs of others before our own, but that only leaves us feeling depleted and sick and sad and overwhelmed and anxious. That’s why flight attendants always say to secure your own mask before helping others! This week I’m talking about how I shifted the center of my focus back to myself and let things flow and let things go. And I’m still standing, better than I ever did…🎶 (as Elton John says)
