In this week's podcast episode, I share some updates on various projects I'm working on, like getting product samples made and posting more content on YouTube. I'm trying to take YouTube more seriously and improve the quality of my videos. I also discuss my continued journey learning how to properly roast coffee. I talk through my plans to roast a small sample batch of Kenyan coffee two ways - one light to medium roast and one dark roast. I explain some of the science and technique behind coffee roasting and how you manipulate variables like time, temperature, and rotation speed to achieve certain results. The end goal is to document the roasting process and see how the different roast levels impact the flavor of this particular bean.I wrap up discussing my goal to upgrade my recording studio setup for future videos and podcast content.
