Because of social media we now have a platform for everybody to say whatever they want, but that does not give us the right to say whatever we want. As believers we need to use wisdom and common sense when we speak, because our words can be very harmful to others, especially if they are not true. And people don't like gossips or liars. They might be interested in what you have to say, but will not consider you a reliable person to tell anything in the future. Instead of gossip and slander we need to speak words of kindness and truth, words that will uplift and encourage our listeners, rather than stuff that will break them down. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus always had a kind and compassionate word for all he met, and that should also be our motto as His true followers. Much LOVE!
