Once she was a young adult, her father pushed her to move to the U.S. for better economic opportunities. Charmaine recalls her journey to the U.S, showing the initial struggles she had while at the U.S, how she overcame these struggles, and eventually how she adapted and thrived in America. She compares the U.S. to China, and gives us very detailed descriptions about what the U.S. does better than China, and what she thinks the U.S. can improve on. 

In this episode, host PJ interviews Brian, an immigrant from Tijuana. Brian recalls his journey to the US, detailing the hardships of the dangers in his neighborhood, the challenges of the immigration system, and the discrimination he faced in the US. He also highlights moments of support he found in the Hispanic community in the US, and much more.

In this episode, host Perla interviews Sandra, who immigrated from Mexico.

Sandra recounts her story of immigrating to America, starting from when she was little to the time she permanently became a resident. She would also bring us through the process she had to go through in order to become an American citizen. Where the biggest change for her would be the culture difference, along with a challenge that she faced and still faces being the language. Though despite the challenges and a longing thought of what her life would have been like if she stayed in her home country, she would find stability and strive for the American dream she set for herself. Sandra would also share her future plans and her wishes.
