The Exposed Life Show

Leaving Homosexuality and Finding Jesus with Brady Cone

Listen Later

Brady Cone grew up feeling different and was ashamed of it. As a young teen, he began experiencing same-sex attraction in a church culture that only spoke about it with condemnation.

At 13, after hearing a pastor say he wished all homosexuals would die, Brady went home and nearly took his own life.

Then, he entered years of addiction, secrecy, and a double life until unexpected grace in college started a lifelong journey of surrender and transformation in Christ.

You'll hear:

✅ What happened when he tried to take his life
✅ The confusion he experienced with same-sex attraction
✅ The difference between suppression and surrender
✅ How Brady found a new identity
✅ What it means to “apply the gospel” daily

Brady said:

❝ My sexuality is not who I am—Christ is.
❝ We don’t just repress sin—we surrender it.
❝ The goal isn’t the removal of struggle—the goal is Jesus.
❝ I am more than the thing I struggle with.
