The federal government has warned Australians not to travel to Lebanon, and told those in the country to get out, as tensions rise between Israel and Hezbollah.

This follows a rocket attack that killed 12 people, including children, who were playing soccer in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Despite months of cross-border strikes and counter-strikes, there are fears this latest attack could see things escalate into an all-out conflict.
