Dr. Carmine D’Amico, D.O. is a Clinical Associate Professor of Cardiology and Assistant Director of Clinical Education at LECOM. He is a cardiologist with the LECOM Institute for Successful Aging specializing in non-invasive/nuclear cardiology and invasive/interventional cardiology. Dr. D’Amico graduated with his osteopathic medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. D'Amico completed his fellowship at Deborah Heart & Lung Center. He is trained in non-invasive, nuclear cardiology and invasive interventional cardiology. He speaks about what it takes to be a great cardiologist and physician in any field. He dives into his passion of teaching and shares the rewards that he keeps with him while teaching at LECOM.

Dr. Anthony Agostini is a cardiologist in Texas who was a part of the first graduating class at LECOM in 1997. He was actually the first person to receive a diploma from the school as the first person who was called during the commencement ceremony. He discusses what he learned, and is still learning, as a cardiologist and his involvement in the first days of the school. He also explains his journey to medical school and time spent as an active air force reservist as he continues to be one of the LECOM healthcare heroes.

Dr. Logan Bartsch is a 2018 LECOM graduate and is currently in his PGY-3 for Emergency Medicine at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Dr. Bartsch shares his journey of how he wanted to do Orthopedic Medicine up until his fourth year of medical school, then took a transition year to follow his true passion. This episode is great for those who still are wavering in what they want to do and how to approach it.
