This passage is close to her heart as she runs the catechesis of the Good Shepherd at her parish.  CGS is a religioius ed for littles that has a very "Montessori" type feel.

MJ and Frankie join the podcast for some Lectio and iced lattes.  

In Luke 24:35-48 Jesus visits his disciples after His resurrection, eats breakfast, and opens their minds to scripture.

Jesus opens MJ's mind and shares an image of puzzle pieces and how God holds the missing pieces and if we turn to Him, understanding follows.

Frankie feels called to be a witness- singled out by Jesus's command.

Elizabeth feels urged to testify to the mercy of God.

I'm joined by my oldest daughter, Sam.  It's her first ever Lectio Divina and my first ever podcast episode!  So please be patient with us!  We sit and chat for a bit as we drink decaf espresso shots with oatmilk creamer(as we recorded this late on a Friday night).
