When we find ourselves overwhelmed by the challenges and storms of life, it's often because we've shifted our focus from where it needs to be—on Jesus. Like Peter, who began to sink the moment he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the wind and waves, we too can lose our footing when we fixate on our problems instead of the One who holds the answers. By keeping our eyes and hearts fully fixed on Christ, we gain the peace, stability, and perseverance needed to navigate life's difficulties. We've drifted far from the foundational principles that once guided us—like Praying Until Something Happens (PUSH), What Would Jesus Do (WWJD), and Fully Rely On God (FROG). It's time to humble ourselves, step off the pedestal, and return to a place of deep reliance on God. We must remember that without Him, we can do nothing. Let’s rekindle the faith that moves mountains, the trust that withstands trials, and the humility that invites God’s presence back into our lives. More of Him, less of us.

Correction isn't always easy to accept, but it's necessary for growth. God uses others to sharpen us, to mold us into His image, and to keep us on the right path. It's easy to get offended when someone shares a hard truth, but remember, correction is a sign of God's love. Proverbs 3:11-12 reminds us, "My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; for whom the Lord loves He corrects." Embrace correction as God's way of refining you and helping you become who He’s called you to be.

Be Present

Embrace each moment as a gift from God. Matthew 6:31-32 and 6:34 remind us not to worry about tomorrow, and Psalm 46:10 calls us to be still and know God is in control. Life unfolds in the present, so let go of stress and focus on what you can do today. Cherish time with loved ones, and trust God with your concerns. Be present in every moment and let His plan guide you.
