Ukraine's Foreign Minister has hit out at India over imports of cheap Russian oil, referring to it as being ''morally inappropriate.'' ''The opportunity for India to buy Russian oil at a cheap price comes from the fact that Ukrainians are suffering from Russian aggression and dying every day,'' said Dmytro Kuleba in an exclusive conversation with NDTV.

The war of rallies is over in Gujarat as the state is set to vote in the phase 2 election on December 5. While phase 1 saw a low voter turnout of 62.9 per cent, the Election Commission has asked people of Gujarat to come out in large numbers and vote in the second phase. YSR Telangana Party leader YS Sharmila, who was arrested on Tuesday after she tried driving to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's home in Hyderabad, said she felt "insulted" as her "only aim" was to "parade our vehicles that were damaged by his party's goons".  She also called the arrest and the fiasco that erupted a political move by the TRS to bar her party.

Israel's ambassador to India today publicly denounced a filmmaker from his country who called 'The Kashmir Files' a "propaganda" and "vulgar movie" at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Envoy Naor Gilon also apologized to India in an "open letter" on Twitter, a day after filmmaker Nadav Lapid, who is heading the festival jury, slammed the movie at the closing ceremony of the festival. China is witnessing massive protests against the government's draconian 'Zero Covid' policy. Hundreds of protesters demonstrated in cities across the country against Chinese President Xi Jinping's strategy, with some of them even calling for his removal. According to several reports and videos shared online, students chanted "democracy and the rule of law, freedom of expression" during demonstration at Beijing's prestigious Tsinghua University. With just four days to go for the Gujarat assembly election, contenders are going all out to campaign with top leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal went to Surat, which will vote in the first phase in Gujarat. In Delhi, the BJP rolled out big leaders to campaign for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, or MCD, election.
