We are reflecting the experience in our geographic area and with the governmental supports that are here. Your experience may be somewhat different in those aspects but the process should be very similar.

When you wander through a typical toy store, you may see a sign that indicates toys for language development.  If you carefully study the toys or games there, you will find a lot of activities that involve colours letters, shapes and numbers.  As we hope you will learn by the end of this podcast, for us these are not what we consider activities to build language.

In this podcast we talk about how children around 2 years of age are now learning to put words together to express themselves. In that context we will discuss the child’s physical activities and emotional growth including temper tantrums. 

In this podcast we talk about the power of play. We hope you see that play is central to your child’s learning and development. When a child plays, it gives that child lots of different ways and times to learn.
