In Beaufort, SC, Ron DeSantis was scheduled to speak at Beaufort Academy. That is, until a crazed leftist whose main focus is demanding porn be allowed and encouraged in elementary schools got wind of it, and led a charge to force the school to back out of the arrangement. This reportedly cost the school upwards of $6,000 and led to the presidential candidate moving the event to a much smaller venue. The media played defense for the activists, of course. But they did admit one thing. The Island Packet quoted the school as saying they could no longer “safely accommodate” the event.
