As the Jews returned back to the Promised Land after their exile from Babylon, they were rid of their idolatry- but there were still clear signs of spiritual decline. They were not upholding their covenant with the LORD, marked by the quality (or lack thereof) of their offering and tithes to God. Do our offerings matter to the LORD?
