Legacies of Light

In a world full of noise and performance, lightworkers are being called to share their truth, not for likes, but for liberation.

In this episode of Legacies of Light, recorded just as Leo season began, we explore the energetic invitation to move from performance to soul expression.

You’ll hear a reflection on why performative energy —especially when tied to visibility and money— no longer works in the new paradigm, and what it looks like to be truly seen without falling for Matrix metrics.

I also share a download from the Akashic Records about how money wants to flow through authentic expression, not performative strategy.

If you’ve felt stuck in the loop of trying to “show up” in a certain way online, or you’re navigating the tension between needing income and wanting to lead with integrity, this one is for you.

This episode is especially for lightworkers being called into deeper alignment with their soul’s voice.

Let’s stop performing and start remembering who we really are.

In this episode…

00:26 The Exhaustion of Performative Living

💫 If this message resonates, the Soul to Social component of my program DISCERN is where we explore this in real time. It’s designed to support trailblazing lightworkers in showing up online and sharing their work in a way that feels honest, sustainable, and soul-led.

In this episode, I dive into the concept of arrogance using the context of Gene Key 31. You don't need to know what Gene Keys are to glean the wisdom from this tool for clarity and contemplation.

All you need to know at this point is that when the sun moves into the sign of Leo, Gene Key 31 is highlighted. So in this episode, I explore the shadow of arrogance and the gift of soul-centred leadership through the lens of astrology, Gene Keys, and tarot.

I emphasize the importance of staying true to one's heart and intuition and address the common fear of being perceived as "being too big for your britches" or "full of yourself".

The episode also touches on the manipulation of language, integrity in energy work, and the importance of wonder and love in leadership.

In this episode, I explain the journey I went through to become the energy worker and lightworker mentor I am today. I talk about how my intuition (via the guidance of my to-be-born child) gave me the courage to leave my secure university position.

I also explore how my kid's birth date corresponds to my own astrological natal chart. In this exploration, I learned that his birth directly corresponded to many of my ego deaths. His birth was written in the stars in more ways than one.

If you're a lightworker who wonders if you have the courage to make the decision you need to make on your trailblazing path, may this episode inspire you.

Magic and the occult are enjoying a renaissance in pop culture, but how much of how they're depicted is accurate? As a culture, do we really understand what magic is and what it isn't?

In this conversation with Chaweon Koo, author of Spell Bound: A New Witch's Guide to Crafting the Future, we dive deep into the history of the occult, Western and Eastern alchemy, chaos magic, magic and technology, and the future of magic.

In this conversation, we discuss:

03:15 What is the “occult”
09:20 The purpose of magic
11:25 Eastern occultism
15:40 Chaos magic
21:15 Technology and nature
25:40 Magical thinking vs magic
27:40 Western and Chinese alchemy
31:00 Fundamentals of Western alchemy
40:00 Working with the ancestors
46:05 Blockchain and magic
53:20 Embracing our nature
58:45 Living a soul-expressed life

Chaweon Koo is a writer of the intersection of pop culture, the occult, and futurism. Her Tik Tok @chaweonkoo is one of the most popular occult accounts on the platform, and she also interviews some of the most distinguished occultists and witches in the English-speaking world on her YouTube, “Witches & Wine.” In the past year, she has helped co-facilitate “crypto-rituals,” which are public magic rituals done directly on the Ethereum blockchain. Her new book “Spell Bound: A New Witch's Guide to Crafting the Future” available as a hardcover, has over 60 beautiful illustrations specifically commissioned for the book, and details her journey from an atheist witch into one of the most visible East Asian practitioners of both Eastern and Western occult traditions.
