Lis Hoyte is the CEO and founder of Lis, Really? What? Coaching and Speaking LTD, an Author,

certified speaker, life coach (empowering Women and Men to break free from coercive control), a

domestic abuse advocate, survivor of coercive control and Facilitator of the VOICE Programme.

Lis started her career as a youth support worker that supported young people with emotional and

behavioural difficulties who resided in independent children’s homes. From this, Lis then started her

career teaching in both mainstream and independent schools covering both KS3 and KS4 at GCSE,

specialising in Humanities, Health and Social Care and Psychology.

Lis holds a BA Honours in Sociology and Criminology and an MSc in Crime and Community Safety

Evidence Based Practice (EBP), Lis has been involved in countless podcasts, spoken at the world

leadership Summit, been a member of the Women’s panel for WITIS (thought leaders in trauma-

informed research, education and empowerment of Trauma Survivors internationally) and had the

opportunity to Introduce both Senator Kasser and Senator Rubio at the first International Coercive

Control Conference along with sharing her story.

Lis is the Author of ‘Break Free’ (2021) which maps Lis’s transformational journey and paradigm shift

out of her coercive controlling relationship which spanned nearly two decades. Lis’s second

publication is called Co-parenting within Coercive Control a parents’ guide to helping and supporting

their children which will be available Lis’s purpose is to spread awareness of coercive control and to

support others experiencing this type of abuse.

Lis is currently working with schools on implementing a coercive control curriculum to reach young

people and has developed coaching programmes to help women and men to ‘Break Free’ from

coercive control in the UK.

Lis’s main focus is on the importance of the Inner Game for self-healing and empowerment.

Catherine Haygood was born April 16th 1991 and is the 7th child in the line up of 8 siblings,  the only girl.

She has been performing onstage with her brothers in Branson since she was 1. She started on the violin and has added  Piano, Harp, Saxophone, drums, Guitar, Bass, and Banjo to her repertoire throughout the years.  Onstage She sings, dances, plays multiple instruments and offstage she does social media marketing and Public Relations.  Growing up she enjoyed playing outside, fishing, kayaking, dirt bike riding, paintball and still enjoys all the beauty the Ozark mountains have to offer. At the age of 15 she met her high school sweetheart Jason and dated for 5 years before marrying April 6 2012.  Growing up with protective brothers everyone always asks what dating was like.  She jokes " Well they let me date 1 guy and I ended up marrying him.  Growing up with all boys there was never a dull moment, and I know I can always count on them to be there for me. "

Along with performing,  these days Catherine enjoys home life with her husband and dog Milo. She also teaches yoga, trains for 5ks, and loves to Garden.

Performing thousands of shows alongside her brothers for the last 30 years has been a dream come true. "I love being an entertainer and getting to put a smile on peoples faces for just a few hours is very rewarding. I could not see myself doing anything else! Thank you to everyone who has supported us all these years and continue to come back, we truly cannot do this without all of you. It has been a blessing to be able to perform all these years, and we aren't stopping anytime soon."
